Waynewood ES Created Character Biographies in Photostory

February 5, 2009

Fifth graders at Waynewood ES made movies giving biographical information of famous people.  Each student chose a famous person, researched that person, selected and organized pictures provided by the SBTS, synthesized the five most important facts about that person, and then finally narrated their movie. All movies were then shared with classes and parents using BlackBoard.

Springfield Estates Elementary School just finished doing a live broadcast of the Challenge 24 tournament.  Randolph Bills, Springfield Estates Elementary PE teacher was in charge and Carol Viens, the SBTS helped air this live, with the help of Ustream tv! Carol also put a link on the school home page for parents to view live from home.  In March, when the Cluster event of the Challenge 24 tournament happens, it will again be live and available on the web for everyone to watch!
